CHEEKY thieves who stole body armour designed for motorcycle racing from a Worcester home returned days later to steal the motorbike.

Police were today appealing for information on the rare Huskqvarna motocross bike and the items of protective clothing, which were all stolen from a house in Abbots Morton between Thursday, June 6 and yesterday.

The culprits broke in between 10am on Thursday and 10am Sunday and stole a set of Fox body armour, De-tech body armour and Axo body armour. They also took two sets of Oakley goggles, one pair of size six Alpine Star Tech boots and a pair of Gaerne boots.

But the thieves then returned between midday and 4pm yesterday and steal the unusual yellow and blue 125cc motorbike.

Vicki Davies of Worcester police said the thieves certainly seemed to know what they were looking for and appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.

"Anyone who knows anything about the incident should contact police on 01905 723888 and quote reference c/594295," she said.

"Alternatively, they could contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
