IMPROVING Victoria and Blakeley Hall are toasting back-to-back Worcestershire League Division Three victories after a five-wicket home success over Himbleton.
Victoria beat Himbleton's 179-8 with 12 overs to spare on Saturday and were boosted by extras totalling 31 runs.
They invited the visitors to bat first at Hoobrook and only Kevin Amos (4-51) bowled well for them.
P Rogers (40) and J Caudle (42 not out) enabled Himbleton to post their total in the allotted 50 overs.
In reply, skipper David Mitchell's quick-fire 33 set the tempo for Victoria followed by Alex Roden (39), Paul Thomas (26 not out) and 15-year-old Steve Parker's 31 not out.
Himbleton's most successful bowler was G Wright who took 2-43.

The seconds are still searching for their first win of the season after a tight defeat at Himbleton.
Robert Webb (5-26) kept the home side down to 175-9 but Victoria were bowled out 10 runs short in reply.
