HEREFORD United manager Graham Turner is hoping Nationwide First Division players will be among those moving to Edgar Street over the summer.

The Bulls' boss has already spoken to 10 players and made a couple of offers and may complete his first signing by the end of the week.

Turner has been sounding out several first division players about their willingness to step down three leagues to the Conference. Up to 900 Football League players are set to come onto the market over the summer as the fallout of the ITV Digital deal strikes home.

"I've made one or two offers but we're still waiting answers and other players I've yet to make an offer to," said Turner.

"At the first meeting I like to talk about soccer because it is a big step from the first division to the Conference."
