MARK Shail is poised to sign for Worcester City for another season.
The defender, who put in a string of impressive displays after arriving at St George's Lane in January to help his former club out during its injury crisis, could sign by Thursday.
City manager John Barton will have talks with two other players this week as he bids to add to the summer signings of midfielders David Foy and Pat Lyons.
"Hopefully we will reach a decision by Wednesday or Thursday with Mark and it would be a big boost to have him on board," said Barton.
City have added two more dates to their pre-season friendly programme with away games at Midland Alliance Willenhall on Tuesday, July 30 (7.30) and at Dr Martens Western Division Stourport on Tuesday, August 6 (7.45).
