HISTORY was brought to life for more than 500 visitors to the Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove, at the weekend.
The Rough Diamonds historical society were in residence and provided a fun event packed with music and colour.
Members of the society helped to bring the museum's 15th Century merchant's house, Victorian toll house and 1946 prefab alive with displays and demonstrations.
Among the attractions were the 85th Buckinghamshire Light Infantry Soldiers from 1812.
Music was provided by violinist, Laura Pick, who strolled around the grounds entertaining visitors during the weekend.
"It was a very successful event," said Sue Hadley, education and events officer.
The Rough Diamonds will be returning to the museum during the weekend of September 28-29.
