n MIKE Layland says he is an independent councillor - but why does he and his party always vote with the Tories on every issue at full council meetings?
The Labour group can't be wrong every time. Also, if I was Dennis Green, I would take great exception to Councillor Layland's condescending attitude (You Say, Saturday May 11) when he wrote that Mr Green was not able to grasp the concept of the independent philosophy and needed a tutorial on the subject.
Come on, Mike. You were a long-standing Labour man once. Remember your roots.
