STOURPORT Swifts' captain Asa Charlton has pledged his future to the club after talks with manager Tim Langford.
The defender, who had been linked with a move to Halesowen Town, has agreed to sign for another year with Stourport.
"It's good news for both him and the club because he enjoys his football and basically he just wants to play every week it is as simple as that," said Langford.
Swifts have also offered a new contract to Dave Davies and are awaiting a decision from the central defender.
Meanwhile, Langford is still waiting for news on defender Alex Cowley, who was on loan at Dr Martens Western Division champions Halesowen, but has yet to be offered a deal by the Yeltz.
