THE whist drive last Saturday, which was organised as usual by Mrs Jessie Windle raised £253.60 for St Michael's Hospice. Well done to all concerned!
The computer course for beginners will be starting next Tuesday, May 21 in the Hall from 1-4pm (with a break!). There are still vacancies. The course runs for eight weeks and the cost is £30.
There will be a parish council meeting followed by the AGM on May 28 at 7.30pm. One of the items on the agenda is the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and the beat manager for our area will be attending. The scheme is particularly important in an area like ours and everyone is encouraged to come to the meeting.
