THE format for the Jubilee celebrations to be held at Millers Court on Saturday, June 1 has now been decided. The main theme for this event is a village picnic. There will be plenty of free tea, coffee and squash but you need to bring your own food. Cakes and ice creams will also be on sale. There will be plenty of games to entertain everyone of all ages including skittles, croquet, cricket and rounders. I understand there is also a snooze area for the dads! Come and join in the fun, proceedings begin from 4pm onwards. There is a grand draw, tickets are on sale at 25p each and prizes include £25 cash, a bottle of whisky and various other prizes. The draw will take place at 8pm. If you would like to donate a raffle prize or help in any way phone Ann on (01684) 833353.
