MORE than 11,500 race enthusiasts and first time spectators in search of a great evening out visited Cheltenham Racecourse earlier this month for the Hunter Chase meeting, the last meeting of the season.

An annual event, the evening saw regional winners from Point to Point meeting across the UK competing on the famous Gold Cup Course.

Among the stars and attention grabbers of the evening were the famous Grand National winners Earth Summit (winner in 1998) and Bindaree, this years' National winner.

The championship runners were paraded in front of the crowds before the first race.
