SCHOOLS in Worcestershire are to get more visits from inspectors.
Worcestershire County Council's inspection team has launched a programme of personal visits to every school in the county in a bid to raise education standards.
The visits will celebrate each school's success and concentrate on those areas where it sets high standards. Examples of best practice will then be shared with other schools.
The county council's director of education Julien Kramer said: "This acceleration of our work will allow our inspectors to have a greater influence on those schools that need it and identify more quickly all of our schools which set high standards."
