JAPANESE drummers will be among the stars of this year's Stratford English Music Festival.
The Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers will perform at Stratford Civic Hall on October 15.
The drummers, who sold out when they appeared at the Warwick and Leamington Festival last year, will also give a workshop to local workshops on the day of the concert.
The drummers are one of the first two acts to be signed up for the seventh Stratford English Music Festival, which takes place from October 11 - 20.
The other act that has agreed to perform is rhythm and blues band King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, who will be appearing at the Greig Centre in Alcester on Saturday, October 12.
Festival organisers are keen to build up their mailing list and recruit more Friends of the Festival, which costs £15 per person or £25 per couple. Further information about becoming a "Friend" is available on 01926 410747.
