Ian Prust from Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade gave an illustrated talk, explaining how hosts/hostesses should lead their members to safety should the need arise.
The following week members of Rock Heartstart gave instructions on resuscitation and life-saving techniques.
There are many varied activities at the Day Centre at the top of Sion Gardens, including walking clubs, dancing, crafts such as flower arranging and art classes, as well as talks, cards, indoor golf and bowls.
All senior citizens are welcome to join in any of these activities, and new members are always welcome to the luncheon club on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 12.30pm when freshly cooked food, prepared on the premises is available at a reasonable cost.
