BIDFORD Grange defeated The Vale Club's second string 6-0 as they prepare to enter a league team next year.
The club then staged its first open competition when the overall winner was Steve Marino with a net score of 68. The winning guest was Gary Harding (18), who recorded the same score.
Bidford's next open competition is to celebrate ten years of the course with many sponsored prizes, on Saturday, July 13. Ring David Goodyear on 01789 772012 for more details.
