FIFTY "badly-needed" childcare places are coming to Kidderminster following a lottery cash boost of more than £30,000.
The places will be at First Class Nursery, based at Sutton Farm Com-munity Centre in Lister Road, and have been hailed a major boost for district families.
The scheme, bankrolled by £34,823 from the New Opportunities Fund, will see nursery care available for 12 hours each weekday to accommodate parents' working patterns.
Nursery spokeswoman Rosemary Large said: "This means we can offer badly-needed childcare where there is currently little provision.
"A great deal of money is being invested to regenerate the local area and additional childcare provision helps families to take up increasing employment and educational opportunities."
