I WISH to express my sincere thanks to everyone involved with "Stitches in Time" at Cleobury Mortimer.
The parish hall was packed with exhibits from the history society, library services (museum and archaeology), Cleobury Millennium map, fire service, three churches, two silver bands and several local societies. And we could not forget two lovely old tractors and excellent refreshments.
Individuals contributed models, clay pipes, documents, photographs and other items and manned the exhibition.
Also we enjoyed historical entertainment by Cleobury's young boys and girls.
It was estimated that between 500 and 1,000 people came throughout the day.
