THE Swan Theatre Company, Worcester, is offering young audiences a half-term treat that is also its contribution to the Queen's Golden Jubilee Bank Holiday celebrations.

Since its premiere at the Worcester Swan Theatre in 1968, The Owl and the Pussy Cat Went to Sea... has become something of a children's classic. Half a dozen London Christmas seasons, two nationwide tours, many repertory productions and innumerable amateur productions have placed it high in the league of popular children's plays.

The show runs from Thursday, May 30 until Saturday, June 8 with evening performances at 7.30pm and matinees at 2.30pm on Saturdays and the two Golden Jubilee Bank Holidays. Ticket prices start at £5. Call the box office on 01905 27322.
