A PARISHIONER who died in September last year has left £3,000 to Upton-upon-Severn Parish Church and £3,000 to Upton-upon-Severn Medical Support Trust.
Retired schoolteacher Beryl May Daulman, of Berrow Court, Gardens Walk, had lived in Upton for 20 years, having moved to the town from Warwickshire with her sister, Mary, who died before her.
Miss Daulman, whose estate was valued at £566,875 gross, £564,823 net, left shares to Sightsavers, the Teachers Benevolent Fund, Field Studies Council, Missions to Seamen and the Camphill Village Trust.
"Beryl was a regular and faithful church-goer, who was very supportive of the church," said the Rural Dean, the Rev Dr Chris Hardwick.
"This is a very generous bequest, of which we are tremendously appreciative."
Probate has been granted to Miss Daulman's niece, Margaret Gibson, of Astley Lodge Farm, Corley, Coventry, and Rosalind Rowett, of Hamilton House, Hamilton Terrace, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
