A £20 million development which will include a transport interchange, an indoor food hall and several stores will begin operating from Monday, September 16, it was announced yesterday.
The project forms part of a £60 million revamp of the Kingfisher Centre and was originally scheduled to open this spring.
But due to some unforeseen building problems the opening date was delayed until the autumn.
Department store giant Debenhams is due to open on or just before Thursday, October 31.
