A REDDITCH band has beaten off tough competition to win a place in the final of a Battle of the Bands competition.
Indie/Britpop band Unsung Heroes is made up of Kingsley College students Tim Harbon on drums, bassist Matt Hooper, guitarist Daniel Davenport and vocalist James Hannam.
They will compete against eight bands in the final at Dyson Perrins High School, Malvern, on June 28.
