THE Annual Alcester Police Schools 5-a-side Football Tournament took place under hot and sunny skies at St Benedict's School, Alcester on Saturday.
Nearly 40 teams vied for the honours drawn from 22 schools in Alcester and Henley and six pitches were called into use.
In the 11 and Under Tournament 22 teams from 18 junior schools played in four leagues to find the semi finalists. Wilmcote, lifted the Stratford Crime Prevention Shield after a 3-0 win over Welford.
In the senior competitions for the National Schoolwear Centres Trophies, eight teams contested the 14 and Under and 16 and Under competitions, both playing in two leagues.
Studley beat St Benedicts B 4-0 in the 14s final with Alcester Grammar seeing off Alcester High in the 16s final.
