REDDITCH United Girls FC have become the first town sporting club to win an FA Charter.
All United's coaches and managers have completed a Junior Team Manager's Course, Redditch have a designated Child Protection Person and a constitution which includes a code of conduct.
The club, which has won recognition from the FA and Sport England in the last seven years are now aiming to become an FA Development club and want to attract younger recruits.
A summer mini-soccer school starts at the Abbey Stadium on Saturday for girls aged six to nine years old and will be run by female FA qualified coaches.
