POLICE have been out in force in the town centre issuing on-the-spot fines to drivers who are still using the bus-only roads.
There are increased fears there could be an accident and there have been complaints from bus drivers about congestion.
Traffic bans have been in place for several months in the town centre between Bates Hill, the Church Road junction and along Church Green West.
Drivers face fines of £30.
