ALCESTER'S Mark Fawthrop pointed the finger squarely at the bowlers after the Ragley Park side suffered a one-sided eight wicket defeat to Tanworth-in-Arden.
After batting first, Alcester posted a respectable 217-5 target but could take only two wickets as Tanworth made it two wins out of two.
The problems could continue at Norton Lindsey on Saturday (2pm start) with two regulars unavailable. Fawthrop is ruled out along with Ben Lee for the away day against a side who have also opened up with a win and a defeat.
