THE first major revival of hit musical Godspell in more than 30 years kicks off at Birmingham Hippodrome this month.
Neighbours star Daniel MacPherson, who played Joel in the Aussie soap, and rising British star Jonathan Wilkes, who recently sang Me and My Shadow at the Royal Albert Hall with his childhood friend Robbie Williams will perform in the show.
Daniel and Jonathan will be alternating the roles of Jesus and Judas and the company also includes Grange Hill and 2.4 Children star Clare Buckfield.
The new production is being staged from Monday, May 27, until Saturday, June 1.
Performances are at 7.30pm with Wednesday matinees at 2pm and Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
