THE annual reunion of The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment will be held on Saturday, June 1, at Worcester Rugby Club from 12.30pm to 6pm.
For the first time, it will include a Drumhead Service, using as an altar the silver drums presented to The Worcestershire Regiment by the City of Worcester in 1950, by the Borough of Oldbury in 1962 and by the Borough of Halesowen in 1968.
The Clive Band of The Prince of Wales's Division will play during the reunion and military equipment of B (WFR) Company West Midlands Regiment will be on display. The day will end with a March Past of Old Comrades at which the new Colonel of the Regiment, Col J R M Hackett will take the salute.
