Bromsgrove Town U7s 1 Highgate United U7s 4

Bromsgrove lost a thrilling Central Warwickshire League Shield final.

Town, captained by Tom Lucas, went a goal down on five minutes and, despite good Bromsgrove pressure, they could not equalise.

In the last minute of the first half Town were caught on the break twice and both chances were clinically finished by in-form United.

Town scored straight after the break with a Billy Skinner thunderbolt free kick.

Goalkeeper Ben Lucas made two great saves to keep Town in the match but was left with no chance for United's fourth.
