TRIPLETS, who all play in the same Bromsgrove football team have helped their club win the league championship.

Matthew, Alex and Jonathon Frost (pictured right), all aged 12, turn out for Bromsgrove Corinthians U12s on Sundays and this season the side has been crowned champions of the Central Warwickshire Youth League division three.

The trio, of Alhambra Road, were born within 90 seconds of each other and Jonathon and Alex are identical so one has to tick their shirt out shirt on matchdays so the manager can recognise them.

Their mother, Jane, said: "They have been playing since they were eight and they have always played together in the same team.

"The team do get them mixed up on the field so they just call them Frosty."

Football runs in the family as their 14-year-old brother Edward plays for Hanbury U14s and they all support Aston Villa.

Mrs Frost said: "We have always joked we have a five-a-side team in the family if Dad (Richard) plays in goal.

"The whole weekend is virtually devoted to football.

"We split to go and support them because we have to be in two places at once."
