A BUSY stretch of road in Redditch town centre is to be closed off to allow more than £100,000 worth of resurfacing work and traffic calming measures to be installed, writes Becky Procter.
Work along a small stretch of Bromsgrove Road from the bottom of Unicorn Hill to the Plymouth Road junction is due to start in four weeks and forms part of the £20 million bus station development.
The underpass leading from the train station to the bus station is also being refurbished as part of the project.
Railway station users will still have access via Hewell Road during the work expected to last for four weeks.
