BROMSROVE Draughts player Tony Boyle managed one draw in four games while representing England against the Czech Republic in Cambridge.
England eventually beat the Czechs at their game as well as ours as the Czech Republic play a different version of draughts.
Boyle was also a member of the victorious West Midlands team against Avon on Saturday.
Boyle drew his two games, enabled the West Midlands to reach the final against Middlesex later this year.
