DROITWICH Spa Fencing Club enjoyed success after being crowned champions at the Crystal Open.
The Crystal is a competition for teams of three fencers competing in the three disciplines of foil, epee and sabre.
Eleven teams took part in the competition and the winning Droitwich team consisted of Simon Axon (sabre), Louisa Miller (foil) and Paul Price (epee).
Second place was taken by the National Veterans Association 'A' Team while Stourbridge and Sutton Coldfield were joint third.
The Droitwich 'B' Team finished eighth.
Droitwich Spa junior fencers also achieved some good results at the Jubilee Foil competition in Worcester.
Kyle Fuller was third in the U14s, Nathaniel Fuller was runner-up and Sam Thomas finished fourth, both in the U16s.
