CAULDRONS were bubbling and witches were cackling when Bromsgrove's Conservative MP watched an amateur dramatic group's rendition of a Shakespeare classic.
Julie Kirkbride joined the packed hall to watch the Rubery Drama Group's hilarious rendition of Macbeth at the Beacon Church Centre, in Whetty Lane, last month.
The comedy, written by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin, received a great response according to members Bob and Angela Sawyer, who have been involved with the group since it first started 50 years ago.
Angela said: "The cast members put on a wonderful performance on all four nights.
"It was a nice reunion too, with many of the former members travelling from all over the country to watch the show."
