Alvechurch - extension of churchyard. A meeting of the parishioners was held in the National School on Tuesday evening to accept the plot of land which is to be added to the churchyard and which has been conveyed to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners by Lord Windsor and the Rector and also to consider the best method of raising a sufficient sum for the cost of conveyance, fencing, draining and the laying out of the ground.
The Rector (Archdeacon Walters) presided over a small attendance.
On the proposition of Mr H W Boulton (churchwarden), seconded by Mr Millman, the gift was accepted.
