GOING out in style was the aim of Pershore High School leavers as Year 11 pupils celebrated with a night out at the Oscars.
A range of awards were on offer at the school's charity night, including prizes for the best-dressed male and most glamorous female.
Most of the final year students decided limousines were the only way to arrive, leaving their teachers feeling the poor relations turning up in their estates and hatchbacks.
"It was a wonderful evening and very successful.
''The prom committee has worked extremely hard to create this enjoyable event," said deputy headteacher Clive Corbett.
"At one stage their were about 15 limousines queuing up outside. I'm not sure where the students found the money from!"
The school hopes the event will also have raised around £200 for Whizz Kidz, a charity aiming to give mobility to disabled children.
