THE result of my election has clearly shown that the people of St Peter's do not want the Baptist Church forced upon them.
Neither do the residents of the area surrounding the Red Hill Primary School in Midhurst Close want the traffic-calming under the guise of "safer routes to school".
I believe the Executive Board needs to reconsider their decision of April 23 in the respect of the disposal of the land at Abbotsbury Court at St Peter the Great and listen to the people and particularly the silent majority shown by the magnificent result of my election.
My sincere thanks to the people of St Peter's for their continued support.
AUBREY TARBUCK, Hallow, Worcester.
