AROUND 130 people are meeting to discuss the future of services for elderly people in the county.
The "open space" event is being hosted by South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust and Worcester and District Community Health Council at Worcester Rugby Club tomorrow.
Debate
Representatives from groups including parish councils, voluntary organisations, and Age Concern have been invited to the event.
The group will debate issues relating to modernising services for older people.
Exhibitions on Alzheimer's Disease, using medication and the new Patient Advice and Liaison Service will also be on display for part of the day.
Glen Green, South Worcestershire PCT non-executive director and former chairman of Worcester and District PCT, said she hoped the day would lead to an improved service.
"I am thrilled so many people have taken an interest in joining us at our all-day event," she said.
"We hope, following the success of the day, many people will be encouraged to take an active role assisting us to develop and deliver an improved service," she said.
