TWO Worcestershire men have appeared in front of Kidderminster Magistrates charged with a catalogue of offences including blackmail.
Ernest Loveridge and Terry Clark are both charged with two counts of making unwarranted demands for £5,000 cash, between Sunday, May 4 and Friday, May 9.
Additionally, both are charged with witness intimidation, also during last week, and aggravated burglary of a home in Cranham Drive, Warndon, on Thursday, April 11.
On the same day Loveridge, aged 31, is charged with taking a vehicle, a Vauxhall Vectra, without consent, while Clarke, aged 22, faces a charge of allowing himself to be a passenger in a vehicle which had been taken without consent.
Loveridge, of Churchfield Close, Sidemoor, Bromsgrove, also faces counts of criminal damage on Thursday, April 18, affray between that day and Saturday, April 20, as well as assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a Simon Wheeler during an alleged incident on Thursday, April 11.
Both Loveridge and Clark, of Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove, were remanded in custody, and are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court this coming Friday, May 17.
