A WORCESTERSHIRE woman who murdered her fianc and then claimed he was the victim of a road rage attack will be featured on a television documentary this evening.

Former model Tracie Andrews was jailed for life in June, 1997, after being found guilty of the murder of Lee Harvey, a 25-year-old unemployed bus driver.

Throughout her trial, she insisted he was the victim of an attack by a "starey-eyed" man.

Tonight, the story which shocked the nation will be told on the Real Crime programme, at 9pm, on ITV.

It will feature a dramatised account of her relationship with Lee Harvey, and how she fooled the nation into believing he had been the victim of a road rage attack.

Andrews has also spoken out from prison about the night of the murder, describing Mr Harvey as a jealous, possessive and violent man.

She claims they had a heated row as they drove to their home in Alvechurch after a night in a Bromsgrove pub on December 1, 1996, because she had spoken to the bouncer on the way out.

She told the Daily Mail that he held a knife to her face and threatened to maim her, and she kneed him in the groin.

She said he dropped the knife and then hit her, at which point she picked up the knife and started stabbing him.

"I've come to terms with what happened and can accept that there's blame on both sides," she said.

"Yes, I murdered Lee, but he should take some of the responsibility."
