WORCESTER Rugby Club have confirmed that Alejandro Moreno will be leaving Six-ways.
The Argentininan prop, who arrived at Worcester last summer, has been released along with Elton Moncrief, Winston Stanley, Joe Ross, Dave Sims, Ricky Pellow and Alistair Murdoch.
Head coach John Brain cited his expensive contract coupled with Neil Lyman's outstanding form as the reasons for Moreno's departure.
"Alejandro was an expensive player," said Brain. "He's done a good job for us but you have to weigh up the value for money when you are re-signing players and the form of Neil Lyman was a major factor."
