FOLK fans have been flocking to Upton-upon-Severn's riverside for a weekend of song and dance.
Music-lovers enjoyed bursts of spring sunshine yesterday as the town's annual folk festival got underway.
Visitors to the three-day extravaganza, which finishes on Monday, will be treated to five choirs, dozens of dancing displays and a whole host of solo artists, bands and groups.
Bizarrely-named acts this year include the Hotwells Howlers, offering traditional May songs, Plum Jerkum and Wharfdale Wayzgoose.
Continuous public performances will run until 5pm today and from 11am to 5pm tomorrow and Monday.
At 4pm today, there will be a massed dance, and a procession is due to take place tomorrow at noon.
