Asylum seekers

I do not speak for the Independents. His attack on them is incorrect, but in line with his new political bonding and typical of the Labour group with whom he votes on most issues.

Regardless of what issue of The Sun Gary has been reading, with this Hollywood-style descriptions of asylum seekers, it does not relate to the general pictures in both the papers and on TV. We see hundreds of asylum seekers who look well-fed, and well-clothed, waiting their turn to hop a train in France.

Out of every 100 asylum seekers there are only 20 genuine cases (Home Office figures). Of course, we should help the genuine cases and give more aid within the war-torn countries.

Let's have more truth and less political theatre, Gary.
