MUSICIANS Nigel Shaw and Carolyn Hillyer are coming to Malvern on Saturday, May 11, for a special performance entitled Journey: a deep landscape of music and song.
The concert, at the Grove, 8 Avenue Road, will feature ancient flute melodies, graceful and shadowy song and powerful tribal rhythms and chants.
Nigel Shaw and Carolyn Hillyer are musicians and artists who come from Dartmoor. Their creative output ranges from their 21 albums to painting, woodcarving, writing, art installations and the creation of sacred spaces.
Their live performance, which have included major festivals such as Glastonbury and WOMAD, are described as a magical tapestry of wooden flutes, Irish whistle, voices drums and keyboards.
