THE new South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust has named June Patel as its director of clinical services and nursing.
June will be in charge of the nursing teams at Evesham and Pershore hospitals and will be responsible for community nursing services too.
She said: "I am looking forward to working with all professional groups within the primary care trust, as well as patients and carers, to develop patient-focused clinical services for local people.
"It is a very exciting time in the development of health care and I am privileged to be part of the new trust."
A qualified general nurse, psychiatric nurse and health visitor, June has also worked as a specialist nurse in diabetes. She was previously director of nursing at Worcestershire Community and Mental Health NHS Trust.
