IN the last couple of weeks two charities have delivered plastic bags for donated goods and both have failed to collect the filled bags. The charities concerned are Save the Children and Sue Ryder.
It seems a pointless and inefficient exercise and a waste of time and effort in filling the bags. I am disappointed to miss the chance of supporting these worthy causes but at least as an Oxfam volunteer I am aware of a reliable pickup service.
