I AM writing to you re the continuing problem caused by bonfires in this area particularly.

As soon as the nice weather arrives it starts, ruining a sit in the garden and even stops you gardening, if you are an asthmatic and suffer from breathing problems as I do.

The environmental people seem unable to help (just give you a leaflet, which doesn't help).

There is no need for bonfires these days. There are compost bins, bags (from the council) costing only 50p, besides the council tip to take it to and most people have cars these days. Could I ask everyone to consider the neighbours before lighting a fire especially on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
