AROUND £500 is expected to be raised for Sue Ryder Cancer Care from the fourth annual Upton Fun Run.
The event took place last Sunday (April 28) at Hanley Castle High School.
Despite some confusion over the route,
36 people completed the 10k course and ten the 6k course.
One runner, Marc Siebel, ran both in a time of 1hr 12mins, after doing the shorter route by mistake the first time round.
The quickest man in the 10k was Trevor McGill, of Worcester Joggers, in a time of 37mins 16secs. The fastest woman was fellow club member Lisa Lee in just under 50 minutes.
The event will be repeated next year on the last Sunday in April.
Any sponsorship money still outstanding should be forwarded to Kate Taylor, Green Farm, Twyning, or Lynn Dee, Sansterre House, Holly Green, Upton.
