Last Saturday's walk by Powick Parish Ramblers encountered strong winds, sunshine and the odd April showers. Ten people enjoyed the fresh air on their walk from Newland to Braces Leigh, a five mile circular walk. Next Tuesday, another five mile walk will take place this time commencing at the second car park (on the Upton road) at the Old Hills, from 10am. The walk will be led by Pat and Bill Ash. A working party will be broadening and strengthening the bank on footpath 59, off Upper Ferry Lane, Callow End. Offers of help welcome. Ring Bill Ash on (01905) 830094.

Another walk is planned for the following Saturday, May 11, from Pershore Old Bridge walking the five miles to Tyddesley Wood. More details from Bill and Pat Ash.
