Congratulations to 17-year-old James Hodge who has been awarded a Robert Nairac award for rescuing his disabled mother from their burning car in March, 2001. The awards run by Gloucestershire Royal Society of St George are given to individuals who show courage or bravery. James received his award in front of 1,000 people at Gloucester Cathedral after being nominated by a neighbour. James will donate his £50 prize to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
