MALVERN rider Tim Wood was the star of the first 'ten' of the VC Sevale-Malvern Time Trial series held in somewhat blustery conditions at Chance Lane, although the threatened rain didn't arrive.
Wood rode a convincing race to win by almost 50 seconds over his nearest rival, mountain biker Liam Killeen, confirming Tim as one of the county's best riders.
