THROUGH your letters page may I please express our thanks and appreciation to the person who paid for mother's shopping in Tescos, Evesham on last Thursday, April 18.
Mother is elderly, partially sighted and hard of hearing. I hope the low-life that decided to steal her purse is proud of his/her actions in preying on a vulnerable OAP. Understandably, she was very distressed but a 'good Samaritan' helped out by paying for her groceries, both lessening the blow and restoring her faith in human nature.
Whoever you are, we are very grateful for your kindness.
MRS G M STALLARD AND FAMILY, Woodstock Road, St John's, Worcester.
